Phrase for the Day: 旅愁しに取りたい
Today was rather exciting. We went to Shinjuku as a group with Yang sensei. We started off going to Bigu Kamura where sensei had to translate everything for us, poor sensei had to herd a bunch of wandering sheep who were easily distracted by pretty things and succumbed to yummy-looking food. After a visit to the "Tall Building" where Fuji-sama was too shy to show his face, the group split and many of us went our seperate ways; this happened througuout the day. Those of us who made to TetsuSushi with Yang enjoyed a very delicious yet affordable meal. Once that was over, our group split again and we wandered off to find some neat toys from vending machines...poor Mike never did get his fabled "Mein Bao." Continuing on, our group walked a bit more and again split when some of us decided to go shopping. The few of us that stayed ran into Sensei who invited us to a baseball game. It was a long 3 hours of standing but it was worth it; it was something new and fun for a first time experience. The balloon release during the seventh inning was the best part. After the game and a full day's worth of being on foot, we're back at the Kenshukan now and so tired we're barely concious. Now it's bedtime for we have to be up, ready and at the train station again at 10 for Harujiki. Good night!

+2 Day

Today was very tiring......(so far, whcih day isn't?)

We walked for a long time. From Campus to downtown, kawasaki.

And I just remember that I have to post pictures in the entry but I have left my camera upstairs which I am too lazy to walk up to get so there will be no pictures fo far, and man, what a run a sentence.

I realized that my Japanese really sucked, which is really upsetting me.

There are tones of vending machines..............

I am too tired.

Day -3 Last Weekend Before Departure

So yea...the past couple of days has been nothing but mad cleaning/packing/planning, etc. Been really busy tying up loose ends and getting ready. Still got some mad shopping to do for all the miscellaneous supplies and some clothing. The good news is this time next week, I'll be relaxing and chilling in Japan. Though things are still only about half done, I remain enthusiastic and excited. Anyway, just posting to update...back to work!

頭が痛いの

Day -6 毎日の新しい文字:自動販売機

At this moment, we (as Steveie and Lolita) are struggling to get everything ready, and yes, Yang sensei, that includes the presentation that is due tomorrow. (2% done..)

God, nothing is done. We just realized that the yen we exchanged is not enough, so in order to not to starve to death in Japan we will have to head downtown again. (God, hope they have yen in their little secret safe somewhere). and LUIS if you are still traveling with us get your butt here 下さい, so we can discuss and come up with a travel plan.

-----THE ABOVE IS OFF RECORD-----

We are very excited to go to japan. Unfortunely, there are so much to do. Oh. My. God. It isn't funny.

Current Status:

Bags: UNPACKED
Money: UNCHANGED
Plans: UNPLANNED
JR tickets: UNBOUGHT
Japanese: 90% FORGOTTEN

If we are going to Japan like this, yeah, this will be a very interesting trip. But,at least we have our walking (literally) life saver, Mr. Yang Sensei. Orz

Right now, at this moment, Steve is trying to do a report and I am trying to draw a vending machine that looks like a TV for our project homepage.

Anyways, I better go back to my TV-like vending machine and stop writing this blog which I tried to create three times. (That is what you get for having multiple gmail accounts)
